What are Lead Configs?

Reusable definitions of the contact fields your bots should collect, plus optional custom instructions for how the AI asks for them.

Why use Lead Configs?

• Keep lead collection consistent across bots
• Map reserved fields (name, email, phone) into standard lead records
• Control required vs optional information
• Improve conversation quality with Agent hints and Custom instructions

How they work with bots

Create a lead config in the library, then assign it on Bots → Edit → Lead capture. Captured values appear under Monitor → Leads.
