Basic Tab
The Basic tab contains the primary configuration settings for your bot.
Bot Name
Update the bot's display name whenever required.
Choose a descriptive name that clearly identifies the bot's purpose.
Example:
- Customer Support Bot
- HR Assistant
- Sales Bot
Bot Execution Model
Select how the bot should operate.
Single Node Bot
Uses AI instructions together with your Knowledge Base to answer questions naturally.
Ideal for:
- Customer Support
- FAQs
- Website Chatbots
- Internal Knowledge Assistants
Workflow Bot
Uses a predefined workflow instead of relying solely on AI responses.
Ideal for:
- Lead qualification
- Appointment booking
- Employee onboarding
- Multi-step business processes
Auditor Workflows
Attach one or more Auditor Workflows to monitor conversations.
Auditor workflows can automatically review conversations for quality, compliance, or predefined business rules.
Examples include:
- Compliance Monitoring
- Quality Assurance
- Sales Script Validation
- Sensitive Information Detection
Select one or multiple workflows from the dropdown list.
Instructions (Single Node Bots)
The Instructions field defines how your AI Assistant should behave during conversations.
These instructions are sent to the AI model before every interaction.
Good instructions should define:
- Tone of voice
- Response style
- Scope of knowledge
- Business rules
- Escalation guidelines
Example:
You are a professional customer support assistant. Answer questions using only the available knowledge base. If you cannot find an answer, politely inform the user and recommend contacting the support team.
Active Status
Use the Active toggle in the upper-right corner to enable or disable the bot.
- Active – The bot is available for use.
- Inactive – The bot remains saved but will not respond to users.
After making any changes, click Save Changes.
