Troubleshooting MCP Integrations

Authentication failed / Not Connected

Reconnect OAuth for Google apps, or verify headers/tokens for webhook and custom MCP tools.

Invalid URL / tool unavailable

Check Request URL, network allowlists, and that Fetch tools succeeds for custom MCP.

Timeout

Increase Timeout (ms) on custom MCP or optimize the remote API.

Permission errors

Re-consent Google scopes or update API credentials.

Popup blocked during OAuth

Allow popups, then click Connect again.

Bot cannot see the tool

Ensure the tool is Active in Connected tools and selected under the bot Tool tab (Single Node).
